RDH:
Weight: 14 pounds and 13.5 ounces (I think he has dropped a tiny bit since I started back in the office, because I had him at 15 pounds 2 weeks ago) - 45th percentile
Height: 25 inches - 50th percentile
Head Circumference: 41.75 cms - 50th percentile
Overall - RDH is very healthy and "average" on the charts. We had a long discussion with Dr H over RDH not wanting his bottles and she suggested that Mommy keep coming home at lunch to nurse RDH until he catches on better. Today Mommy had to throw out over 100 ounces of breastmilk because it has expired :-( Mom really needs to get on her paperwork at the milkbank, so she can start donating....it is not fun throwing it away because it has expired and your baby wont take a bottle!
August:
Weight: 27.2 pounds - 30th percentile
Height: 35.25 inches - 75th percentile
Head Circumference - 49.50 cms - 75th percentile
August is still my talk skinny baby with a big brain :-) Dr H was very excited about August's vocabulary and his physical skills.....including how he can jump....he loved showing her that!
Activities for RDH at 4 months include:
1. Talking.....he loves to chime in with lots of cooing!
2. Rolling over both from tummy to back and back to tummy
3. "Scooting" on the floor....we may have another early crawler!
4. Grabbing and shaking his toys. His favorites toys are the centipede from Uncle Dale and his taggie frog from Grandma.
Activities for August at 2 years include:
1. TALKING! He is putting together 2 and 3 word sentences. He knows more words that I can even count and at least once a day he surprises me with another new word. It's so fun to watch him communicate.
2. Protector of his brother. He is VERY concerned if the baby gets upset. He constantly brings RDH toys and blankets. August - you LOVE your little brother!
3. Favorite toys include: balls, dumptrucks, puzzles, and books. August is extremely active and loves to throw his balls and kick them.....we need to get this little boy in some sports!
4. Starting to learn letters, numbers, and colors. His favorite letters are "O" (probably because it looks like a ball) and "L" (because on his letter puzzle - under the "L" is a ladybug and he loves ladybugs). His favorite colors are red and yellow (always have been since he was like 5 months old!)
5. Can say his name and all his playmates names, however, refers to himself as "Adoba".....I am thnking this is some form of his name?
6. Loves to eat. Has a great appetite and will eat anything....but his favorite foods are meat and veggies - especially brisket and green beans. He also really like noodles, but you have to make sure to get the sauce just right :-)
Our schedule. It's pretty insane trying to maintain the house with 2 fulltime working parents, a toddler, and a baby. Here is our schedule for now.....It's chaotic, but we would not have it any other way! We enjoy every minute we get to spend with these two little ones!
