New pictures of the Boys

Augie's hair is LONG!!! But at $20 a haircut....we are waiting until closer to his birthday.

Augie "signing" Mommy "thank you" Ms Gina teaches all the boys sign language. August knows:
Thank you, please, all done, more, milk, yes, no, cat, dog, and elephant.
Getting stronger!

Checking out the ladybugs on the playmat....it's hard to hold that big head up!

Grandpa came to check out the boys' new furniture. Augie found him on his new toy chest! Grandpa comes around a lot at various times.....Augie always is the one that finds him!

The new furniture is here! and it is beautiful! I will post pics once we get mattresses (we only have 1 now) and I get the bedding on. The bedding is from Pottery Barn.....Richard went shopping, picked it out, and bought it for his boys all by himself (good thing he has great taste and I love it) :-) Of course, it is covered with balls.....soccer balls, baseballs, footballs, and the all important basketball.

Happy 3 MONTH Birthday RDH!!!

Check out those fat legs!

Daddy and RDH outside of Matt's El Rancho
RDH turns 3 months today! WOW - time flew from 2 to 3 months! Here is what RDH is up to:

1. "Talking" A LOT
2. SMILING
3. Rolling
4. Eating - This child LOVES to eat - as evident from his FAT ROLLS (but still only prefers Mommy...poor RDH is going to have a tough time when Mommy goes back to the office)
5. Weighs about 13 and a half pounds
6. LOVES his brother August

RDH's acid reflux is better, he isn't 100% and we still have our bad days.....but we skipped the medicine last night and realized just how good it was working when RDH had a terrible night :-( Today RDH and Mommy met Daddy at Matt's El Rancho to celebrate his 3 month birthday.....it was RDH's first restaurant experience. He was perfect and slept the entire time! Good timing.....as Matt's was also one of Augie's first restaurant experiences....although he was quite fussy when we took him! Guess you know more by the second child :-)

My favorite professional pics and RDH's new bed!

RDH's New bed!!! and Mommy trying to work in the evening..... it's that busy time of year!!!

RDH loves the mobile!
Some of our professional pictures I really like!

This week Mommy went into her new office for some meetings. The new place is super nice! Mommy's work moved from Westlake to the Hill Country Galleria...the office is so bright and roomy! Although now that Mommy has so many windows in her office, she will not be able to pump in there like she did in her old office. That's ok, because the Company thought to put a super nice pump room in the new office. :-) The pump room even has a shower in it in case you want to take advantage of the running trails around the Galleria.....nice planning! Mommy was super sad to leave RDH, but at least it was only for 4 hours.
On another note, we now own 2 cribs! So now we dont have to be in a rush to move me!!

The move has been HALTED!

RDH in the crib... this did NOT make August happy. He kept throwing his football in the crib (above) and yelling - NO NO NO baby. At first I thought he was wanting his football back, but came to realize that what he really wanted was the baby out of the crib.
August pictured above saying.....NO NO NO Baby.
August sharing is monkey with the baby.
Kissing baby brother
Video of August and Richard. August is always very concerned about RDH and makes sure he always has toys!

After 2 nights, the move is officially on hold until future notice and RDH will have to spend more time in the Pack N Play. I am not using the bassinet piece since he is 13 pounds, so I hope he will be comfortable and safe ( has anyone out there used this for sleeping for an extended amount of time?). I would love to have him in the crib and out of our room, but August is just too young to move. About a week ago, I decided it was time for August to move upstairs (after all; I do have friends that have kids younger than August in beds already). We were going to start out with just a twin mattress on the floor because his furniture is not here yet and because he is too little to be that high in a bed anyway. Friday night we kept everything the same......dinner, bath, rocking - then upstairs we went.....over the past week before bath time we have been "visiting" his new room and laying on the bed and telling him this was his new room and bed. Friday, August didnt fall asleep until 11:30 (regular bedtime 8pm) and that was after lots of tears. After falling off the mattress a couple of times (thank goodness we have carpet!) he then he woke up at 4:30am and would only stay asleep if Richard stayed in the room. Saturday night started the same,.....so we have decided to wait a bit......we dont need two kids and two parents not sleeping in the house!!!! And we dont want to start a habit of August needing us in the room to sleep because right now he puts himself to sleep and sleeps a good 12 hours a night.....since he had such a rough time....the move is on hold. Any one who has advice on moving a toddler, please let me know....is it supposed to be this hard? I am thinking it should be easier, but that August must just not be ready....but I dont know.

Movin' On Up....Upstairs that is...

On Sunday Morning, Mommy was taking too long feeding RDH, so I brought the "fun" to her!

First smiles are starting!
I LOVE playing with my brother!

Mommy and Daddy are preparing for my move upstairs to my big boy room. I have to surrender my crib and my room downstairs to my baby brother and move upstairs. My furniture has still not come in, but I am going to start on a mattress on the ground anyway since I am still under 2 yrs old. Usually Mommy and Daddy love having a two story house....it allows company to have privacy with 2 bedrooms, a bath, and a game room upstairs....but now that I have to move up there, Mommy and Daddy wished we could all stay on one floor! Baby brother is just getting too big and needs his own room. Mommy is really sad I am moving....but I think I will be ok. I got some really cool bedding and a comfortable mattress! Wish me luck!
Updates on RDH: he is smiling more and "talking" a lot! He is still eating every 2-3 hours, so Mommy isnt getting too much sleep yet...but he was diagnosed with acid reflux last week and we got medicine for him from Peoples.....we have already started noticing that he is less fussy....and sleeping better - so hopefully sleep will be more consistent soon! I was never a fussy baby at all - so this was new for mommy and daddy.

I had a very fun weekend. Daddy even took me to the UConn/UT basketball game and to Sholtz. I was the perfect toddler and loved the game....I especially loved running around the Erwin Center's ramps. :-) I came home very tired!

A random fact Mommy wants to remember....August - you are a very compassionate and loving little boy. You get really upset if the baby is crying and you try your hardest to make him happy, by bringing him toys, nursing pillows....even the play mat! You love to give kisses and hugs. You even kiss your dumptrucks and bath duckies....and you have them kiss each other as well! Its so cute to watch.

Reunited and it feels so good....

My very best friend Hayden. He wasnt at Gina's all last week and it made me very sad.....I would sit and ask Mommy "Where's Dee Dee (Hayden)" at least 10 times a day....I was searching for him. I would even pick up the phone and try and call him.
My buddies. Gina's "crew" of little boys....all born within days of each other :-) We have tons of fun playing all day!
Snacktime at Gina's!

Breakfast at Gina's with Arturo...the other buddies havent shown up yet.
