Updates for August and RDH

August is completely potty trained and has had no accidents in months!  So now at night he is in big boy pajamas to make it easier for him to go potty before we go to bed and first thing in the morning.  I am SO proud of him!  He has done so well and I love not having to change his diapers!  woo hoo!!  Look how happy he is here in his big boy pjs!  He is very proud of himself as well and likes to talk about how he doesnt wear diapers, but "drother" still pee pees  and poops in his pants.
August is so much fun to be around!  His little personality is all fun and adventure and this child never gets tired!  I need to get his official 3 year stats up here - yes i am way behind....but from memory, he weighs 28 pounds, and is in the 75th percentile for head and height!
August is sharing so well with his brother and is such a sweet little boy.  He helps out RDH and shares really well for a 3 year old!  I am super proud of him.
His verbal and reasoning skills surprise me everyday!  He can sing his ABCs......but does not always include all the correct letters :-)  he can identify all his letters.  He knows where he lives (his address) and he know where his friends live (Grayson and Adi's Addresses).  he can count to 12 and recognize his numbers.  He even started adding the other day - by counting the two groups up.  He knows all his colors and his memory is crazy good....the other day he told me what each one of his friends was for Halloween last year!  I didnt even remember Hayden had been a Cowboy - but August did! August we are so proud of you and love you so much!

RDH is getting more and more vocal.  He talks non stop.....and he likes it when you look him right in the eye when he is talking.
Some of his clear words are:
Mama (his first word, the word he says most often, and the word he yells first thing in the morning)
Dada
Hot
Cracker
Waffle
Poo Poo (while grabbing his diaper if it is dirty - he hates dirty diapers!)
Water
More (along with the sign)
No - while pointing his little finger (YIKES!)
Up
Down
Ball
Bye - while waving
Hi
He is working on saying August
He can sign (more and thank you)
RDH has become quite the feisty younger brother!  He can and will take on pretty much any child over a toy!

Happy Easter!

At Grandma's August got a hold of a Thomas bubble machine. He had a blast shooting the bubbles everywhere and RDH had fun running through them. RDH was SO super sticky after all the bubbles were gone!

RDH obviously lost in numbers on the Easter Egg hunt, but considering how much of August's candy he ended up stealing and consuming, I think he actually won! - but without all the work!

RDH's Easter outfit!

August hunting eggs......somewhere RDH is chowing down on a peep while August does the hard work :-)

Cousin Ashley was a huge hit with the boys! They loved playing with her!

Family pic! Richard, Me, August, RDH, and one on the way!
Probably the last time I will see my sister while she is pregnant! Baby Bolduc should be here soon!

Easter morning!

Giving Cousin Leo a hug at Dylans birthday Saturday
Both RDH and August had a blast on the playground!

RDH and his mid morning snack
Easter egg hunt in our neighborhood. The boys had so much fun. People were laughing at August because he would pick up an egg and shake it and if he didnt hear anything - he would throw it down thinking nothing was in the egg and move onto the next one. So we missed out on any of the "good" wrapped candies, and got all the jelly beans and skittles he could find!

Day before Easter baskets.....yes they are spoiled!

Easter at Ms Ginas!

The boys had an awesome Easter filled with tons of activities. Easter is my favorite holiday, and sharing it with my growing family made it that much more special!

RDH with his conductor hat. The birthday had a transpotation theme and all the kids got these cute hats.
August spent a good part of the party running back and forth on this ledge.
