Welcome Brooks Randall Tafreshi!

With my busy week, I almost forgot to welcome to the world Brooks Randall Tafreshi! Brooks was born on Monday, the 18th at 3:10pm, weighing 8 pounds and measuring 19.75 inches. I can't wait to play with Brooks and see his big sister Addie again :-) Mommy says that she misses seeing Brooks' Mommy at the doctor on Tuesdays (they have the same OBGYN), but is VERY happy to not be neighbors with her at the hospital! Congratulations Aimee (Reneau) and Alex Tafreshi!

Games with Daddy, Puzzles with Mommy

Getting ready for UT vs Nebraska with Daddy!
Puzzles with Mommy. My brother Richard comes in very handy for lots of activities.....I love lining/stacking all my toys on him. I drive my cars all over him, do puzzles on him, and most recently head butted him very hard today! So maybe that last one was not the nicest thing to do and I can tell it hurt mommy....but I am a rough boy....its just in my nature!

I think we are getting closer to meeting Baby Richard! Mommy thinks he has dropped (he's been head down since 28 wks!). She has been having lots of contractions.....some very painful! Mommy is continuing to rest and rest - hoping for a few more weeks pregnant! Keep Baby Richard in your prayers! Thanks for coming to help out on Saturday Grandma!!! I was looking for my "Ba" today!

Workin' Hard!

Helping Mommy work!

Rearranging the desk....."helping" Mommy!

Trying out Daddy's shoes.
Mommy has been working at home lately and every time I come home from Ms. Gina's - she is still at her desk working away. Of course, now I am super interested in the desk Mommy works at , so when she was cleaning up the kitchen the other day.....I made my way to the desk and did some work for her. Thankfully there is an "undo" button in excel, so she could erase the changes I made to her Board Presentation.

Sprinkle, Birthday, and Baptism!

Of COURSE this picture was going on the blog! Mommy has to thank ALL of her wonderful friends for getting together to enjoy brunch and honor Baby Richard. Mommy had a great time visiting with everyone, especially since she has not had much adult contact lately since being put on a modified activity schedule.
I LOVED playing with the balloons Mommy brought home!
All the beautiful cards for Baby Richard! He is already so loved!
Yummy favors and cupcakes from the Sprinkle
Mommy and Baby Richard at almost 35 weeks.....I came a week from now!
What started out as a hug....ended in a tackle from my friend Andrew!
Beautiful Janae on her baptism day! (in outfit #2....she had so many adorable wardrobe changes that day!)

Morgan's birthday cake!
Me at my neighbor Morgan's "Princess Party"
Even Cinderella came! I LOVED chasing the bubbles!!!
Finding some "boy" toys amidst all the pink!
Stealing the "basketball"
Hanging with Daddy....while Mommy sat parked on her chair :-)

Daddy bought me this new football when he was at UT serving on someones PhD committee, I carry it with me EVERYWHERE!!!
Calling plays with Daddy!

This weekend looks busy, but in fact it was restful because everything literally occurred in our neighborhood!! What great timing, since Mommy is not allowed to do ANYTHING these days in order to try and keep Baby Richard inside longer. On Saturday, my neighbor Morgan turned 5 years old and had a neat princess party.....we walked next door and joined in the festivities. It was great because I got to play and all Mommy had to do was sit there :-) I enjoyed finding Jake's (Morgan's brother) trucks and balls :-) He is so nice to always share his toys with me. Morgan was adorable, and Cinderella ran the party! oh and the cake was fantastic....good thing Mommy was not diabetic this pregnancy like the last :-)
Then in the afternoon - I took a great nap and Mommy went to church to pray and see Janae's baptism. She looked like an absolute little doll in her gown. After the baptism Mommy went home and rested while Daddy and I walked over to the party to celebrate Janae - which also happened to be up the street from us :-) Yes - we live in a cool neighborhood!! Janae was beautiful with all her different little dresses :-) Mommy joined us after resting.
On Sunday, Mommy's wonderful friends threw her a beautiful Sprinkle in honor of Baby Brother Richard (thank you thank you thank you!!!!). It was so nice for Mommy to get out and visit with friends after being home bound last week. Thanks for everyone that showed up, Mommy had the best time ever!!! And the food at Jack Allen's was wonderful!!! What a NEAT place! All the food comes from local farms around Austin.....such a neat concept. Baby Richard walked away with some great presents and gift cards to Buy Buy Baby :-) for all his essentials. Mommy's friends also bought presents for me!!!! Which was awesome....because all my new presents kept me busy when Mommy got home so she could rest some more!!
Notice a theme here? Yes - Mommy is out of commission these days for playing and spends a lot of time resting. The doctor says it is best for Baby Richard :-) He needs to stay in a bit longer! Please pray that he does! After going through having me early though, Mommy and Daddy are prepared.....they actually have their bags packed this time!

Neighborhood National Night Out

Of course I located all the "basketballs" in the vicinity

Finding more "basketballs"
And then the FIRETRUCK came!

Last night was National Night Out and our neighborhood celebrated at the pavilion with yummy FREE food, a police car, an EMS truck, and the Firetruck! It was a great way to see the neighbors and of course I LOVED getting out, running around, and seeing the firetruck!!
