My new quilt and "chins"

Thank you Aunt Marci for making me such a beautiful quilt :-) I love rolling around on it...but don't leave me too long - or I will cry.
Also, Mom threw in this picture of me this morning....I think I grew a new "chin" overnight. I have been eating all the time and not sleeping....that is why I have not had time to blog!

2 Month Checkup

I made it through my 2 month checkup. I loved playing with Dr Hamilton...as she did my physical, I showed off by cooing, kicking my legs and lifting my head when she put me on my tummy (all that tummy time mommy is making me do is starting to pay off). I was having so much fun getting my physical, but then Dr Hamilton left and in came the nurse with the shots! Daddy held me down and I had 3 shots plus an oral shot....oh man - they hurt - why do those needles have to be so long?...immediately afterwards, daddy handed me to mommy and I got to nurse, so all was better in my world then. We we got home, I ate a little more and then sacked out. Here are my stats:
Weight: 9 pounds 11 ounces - 10%
Height: 22 1/4 inches - 25%
Head Circumference: 38.5 cm - 25%
I went from 5% on weight to 10%, stayed in the same percentile on height, and went from 50% to 25% on head circumference. I don't know how to interpret all the stats....but Dr Hamilton says I am doing good even making it on the charts at this point, since I was born early :-) I have a little bit of thrush, but that is ok...the doctor gave mommy an all natural way to treat the thrush, so I don't have to take medicine (gotta love living in Austin and People's Pharmacy). I will also have my first dose of Tylenol tonight...to prevent a fever from all these shots.

Thank yous....

Thank you Miranda and Jacob for all my clothes and my boppy pillows! Mommy could not make it without the boppy pillows and I would be livin in a diaper without all the clothes you have given me! I can't wait to meet you Jacob...I am so happy to have a friend living right next door!

My Crib

I am not sleeping in my crib yet, because I am still in my bassinett.....but Mommy places me in there just to get my used to it.....I think I like it!
Mommy thinks I may be going through a growth spurt....because all I want right now is to be held...or parked in the Boppy right by Mommy.
Tomorrow I go for my round of shots. Wish me luck!

Whose my Daddy?

Not that there was ever a question of who my Daddy is...but this picture is worth more than a paternity test!

Check out my left hand.....I wave this "symbol" around constantly when Mommy is changing my diapers or dressing me.

Busy weekend, complete with a visit from the Mayor!

Easter, Easter and More Easter!

Easter is my Mommy's favorite holiday. Without Easter, which is when Christ was resurrected, we would not have any of the other holidays to celebrate. To her, it is the holiday that gives us the miracle in which we celebrate all other holidays. I don't quite understand it yet, but I did really enjoy having visitors for the first time!

Happy Easter!

Playing with Grandma Dingley

OK Easter Bunny, a message for you!

Easter Bunny - Where are you?

I am getting anxious!

I have been thinking all day about what I want!

And Candy is at the top of the list (give it to mommy and then I end up getting to eat it :-)

What was that?! Are you here Easter Bunny?

I can't wait for Easter!

Maybe if I concentrate hard enough.....the Easter bunny will come visit me!

An attempt at Tummy Time

Mommy let me exercise yesterday on my activity mat. I am not sure if I like exercising yet.....I kinda like just being held :-) Here are pics of me in action....I am moving so fast...they are blurry!

A clean bill of health

Mommy and I went to her 6 week appt and she received a clean bill of health :-) I had fun playing with all the nice people in the doctor's office. Mommy and I have been busy...we even updated my room to add "blue." My room used to be all ladybugs...because it was neutral ....but mommy could not resist giving me a second theme and adding blue giraffes and zebras :-) Daddy added my name to my wall and I love it. I will be excited to move in there in a few weeks, but for now I am in a bassinet, parked next to Mommy and Daddy's bed.
