Conversations with August

I haven't done a post like this in a while. August is talking SO much! Some funny ones recently....

1. "A Callen a bite a me." (Translation: Callen (a boy at Gina's) bit August on the shoulder. It was a nasty bite and August is STILL talking about it a month later. I guess it must have really hurt. He raises his little sleeve up and tells me about Callen biting him quite often.

2. August has this Thomas the Train book that tells a story about Thomas, Percy, and Salty having to go to the mechanic. August likes to "read" the book to me and tell me about....."A Thomas, Percy, and a Salty have a broken a whistles. Oh No!"

3. "Momma, can I have Owl Candy please" (his vitamins from Whole Foods. these things taste disgusting.....glad he likes them!)

4. August is really good at saying please and thank you....he says it every time.....i think he does this because if he says it - he usually gets what he wants. when he says "thanks", we always say "your welcome".....i think he is getting confused...because now he will say "please" and then when he gets what he wants instead of saying "thanks"....he now says, "you're elcome" (you're welcome)
