I'm growing up and look more and more like a little boy everyday! Over 7 months....wow! Time really does fly!

Check out my newest pictures....could I get any cuter? Grandma and Aunt Marci came to visit me and I had so much fun playing with them. I played so hard that I could hardly get myself to go to sleep last night and was up until almost midnight! Its hard to be so excited.
Mommy got out my music table from the Malhiots and I LOVED it...thanks Stephanie!

Tonight Mommy dressed me in night clothes with striped sleeves and I was fascinated with the sleeves. I had a great 7 month birthday.....Mommy even surprised me at daycare during lunch today, so I got extra kisses and Ms N and Ms H got cookies :-)

Happy 7 Month Birthday!

Today I turn 7 Months!! Mommy keeps running around exclaiming....I can't believe how time flies! Some of the things I am doing include:
1. STANDING! I will pull myself up anywhere
2. Crawling....I am MUCH better at it.....(new video post to come soon!)
3. Talking and singing!
4. Playing hard at daycare! Ms H and Ms N laugh at me all day long as I try and "attack" the other children by crawling on top of them. Apparently, I gravitate to the little girls and once I am close enough I will give them "kisses." When Mommy picked me up yesterday, she saw the "destruction" I had left in the form of this poor little girl....whose hair was all matted from my loving kisses :-) Don't worry though, I am gentle.....I just have a lot of love in me that I want to share! I also have been known to pull myself up into the bouncer chairs....but they scare me when I ultimately end up flipping them over!
5. I have tried Sweet Potatoes, Pears, Apples (these were not good for me!), and Bananas.....but mainly I just stick to nursing....Mommy's milk tastes so much better to me than solids, so I prefer to stick with that and since she can't seem to wean me......I win :-)
I still have a cough from the croup, but hopefully it will go away soon....at least it isn't affecting my playing!

Sunday, Mommy and her friends threw a shower for Baby Grayson and Andi. I can't wait for Grayson to arrive and play with me! Mommy can't cook, but she can hire people that can! For Grayson's shower, Mommy and all the wonderful hostesses hired the "Cupcake Bar." It was great! They do a wonderful job, the cupcakes were beautiful and delicious, and best of all....you don't have to cook! We recommend the Cupcake bar and their wonderful "bartenders" for all your parties! The guests get to choose the kind of cupcake they want, the icing, all the delicious toppings they want, and even a "shot" of cream inside the cupcake. The cupcake "bartender" handles the rest and whips up the prettiest cupcake you have even seen......they can even make Poprocks look "classy." During the party, I hung out with my Aunt Michele....I love her!

Hi Kelly and Amber. Amber and Kelly are Mommy's friends. I got to meet Amber when I was 1 day old because she works in the NICU at the hospital I was born at. Thankfully I got to meet her in Mom's recovery room and NOT in the NICU!

This is how I decided to surprise Mommy when she came in the room to see what I was doing.



Saturday Mommy, Daddy, and me all went out to Rich's house at BartonCreek Lakeside to celebrate Rich's birthday! I had so much fun playing with everyone!!!
I have learned to pull up to a standing position now and love to practice in my crib! The picture above shows how I surprised mom! After hanging out with all the Longhorns, Mom had to put me in some maroon while she cleaned the house for Andi (Baby Grayson)'s shower tomorrow. Mom says tomorrow I will have a bunch more people to play with...Oh BOY!

Oh boy! I can't wait to meet my new girlfriends.....and there is not just one, but two of them for me to play with!!!!
Congratulations Mandy and Eric on your new baby girls born yesterday! Natalie Lynne is 19 inches, 5 lbs 3 oz and Ella Danielle is 19 inches, 6 lbs, 3ozs...identical to my size when I was born!!! Mandy...mommy still can't believe you were able to carry these babies for 38+ weeks!! Way to go! I can't wait to meet them!

Updates on.....well ME!

While I am sick, I decided to update my blog on some of my new "accomplishments."
1. No more pacifier! I never really liked my pacifier too much to begin with and now it is gone! Mommy and Daddy decided to take it away while I was not too interested in it so that they didn't risk me becoming interested in it! I don't seem to care at this point.....so the pacifiers are all boxed up for my future brothers/sisters.
2. I am sitting better now....I still prefer being on my tummy and "scooting" around....but when you can get me to slow down, I will sit for you.
3. I am continuing to nurse. Mommy tried to start the weaning process....but it isn't working out (in fact it had the opposite effect on Mommy and now she has more milk than before!)....so that just means more milk for me! Maybe we will try again when I am 7 months old.
4. I have eaten: Sweet Potatoes, Pears, and Apples. Mommy said she never plans to feed me apples again.....I won't go into the details of what apples did to me and my tummy, but lets just say it wasn't pretty!
5. I think I am getting my first tooth! My gums hurt so bad.....and all I want to do is chew! - even on Mommy....which she tells me needs to stop!
6. My favorite toys right now are my books. I LOVE being read to!

Still Sick....

I have moved on from the Croup to lots of congestion and I can't keep my milk down anymore. Mommy said I have to start eating better to maintain my fat little cheeks. I hope I can keep down more milk today than I did yesterday....Mommy says I can't go back to school until I do! Thankfully Grandma came back to play with me today....and I got to sleep in....especially since I was awake all night!

The Croup - continued

Feeling better and reading my book....I can turn the pages on my own now!!
The sun is my favorite because I gravitate to the color yellow. Ms H and Ms N at daycare say I am always after the little girls in yellow....watch out Olivia! ;-)

Feeling bad...

Well I think I have turned the corner now and am headed to getting better! YAY! I love snuggling with mommy and daddy, but I am ready to play with my friends again!
Thursday and Friday I felt really bad! Friday was the worst with a fever and lots of congestion and my terrible croupy cough ....but it's Saturday now and I am feeling better. My cough is still there, but mommy thinks my fever has broken. YAY!
