Is Baby Heller a BOY or a GIRL?

Mommy thought it would be fun to take a vote on what people think Baby Heller is..... We didn't find out if August was a Boy or a Girl, but for Baby Heller, we have decided to find out. For the fun of it - cast your vote on what you think! We will find out at the end of this month during our 20 week ultrasound :-)

Here is the link to the poll:

Just click on the link, type your name in and then vote! Dont forget to press save :-)
To entice people to vote....whoever votes will find out the gender first ;-)

Memorial Day Weekend

Stealing Daddy's glasses!
My daycare sheet.....Note the section that says what I had fun doing today: " August had fun riding in the wagon while the girls fought over whose turn it was to pull him." Hee hee! I am a ladies man!
Chewing on Mommy's purse at Home Depot.
Playing with Grayson. Notice the shiner on my forehead....I was having so much fun outside earlier that day and fell while "dancing"
Giving Grayson a hug and kiss. :-) I love my friends!
I had a great Memorial Day weekend! Mommy picked me up early on Friday and then we got Monday off too! I got to spend time with friends and grandma came over to visit me too! I love my grandma...we had so much fun together!

We found it!

Mommy is very excited. She just toured the best school ever for me! Now we just have to hope I get in! I am not eligible to go until next year around this time (after I turn 2), and I am on the waiting list....but of course there is a HUGE waiting list! Seems like these waiting lists at the good schools just keep growing and growing! I think the director said there were 150 kiddos on the list last year and the class was filled with siblings alone (they get first priority), so all we can do is hope and wait until next year when my first year of eligibility comes up. Thank you so much Ava's Mommy for telling us about his place. When Mommy left her tour yesterday, she actually thought to herself - "I would actually work to be able to afford to send August here." It is truly an amazing school with amazing concepts. It is Montessori based, but with an Austin twist. It is extremely "Austiny" and we love it! No sugar is even allowed in the classrooms - even at birthdays! YAY! Anyway - I could go on and on about this place....it was like a sanctuary tucked away in the 78704 zip code (yes - of course it is located in Central Austin.....where else would you find a place like this??.....but Mommy said it is totally worth the drive). The children were having so much fun learning! There seemed to be an emphasis on math, which Mommy loves and if I am anything like my Daddy - the math genius - this will be great for me! There is also a huge emphasis on outdoor time as Mommy saw the gardens the kids had planted, the wonderful playgrounds, and a group of kiddos that were on an archaeological dig :-). Other things that "wowed" Mommy was a 4 year old who had written a little book....seriously? at 4? Another 4 year old who completed a number board to 100! and another 4 year old who was doing addition and subtraction.....and this was all in a "play" environment.....not a "work" environment. The school was very calm and the teachers seemed so supportive and loving. Anyway - it is a wonderful school and we are hoping and hoping I get in! Mommy especially liked that one of the main extra curricular activities is yoga! :-)

Birthday Party Weekend!

These shoes are made for walking and that's just what I'll do!

Playing at Andrew's house.

My balloon from HEB. Every week Daddy takes me to HEB and gets me a balloon while he does the grocery shopping. What a great Daddy I have!
Walking - with balloon in hand
Straw Cup! Check out me walking in the background with my balloon - of course!
Let the Hugging Session begin! I LOVE Andrew and I made sure he got lots of Birthday hugs on Saturday. Mommy said she has never seen me so excited around another baby....except for maybe Cameron and Ginger (my girlfriends) at daycare.
Daddy had to keep me from knocking Andrew over!

More HUGS! AWWWWE so sweet!

I followed Andrew everywhere on Saturday!
Here I come!
Andrew...where are you?!
Staring at our Daddies outside. Andrew loves his Daddy just like I love mine!

Behind Bars! Oh no - hope this doesn't foreshadow any post college partying!
Runs make me tired!
All ready to swim at Austin's birthday!
Happy birthday Austin! Austin is mommy and daddy's Godson and he turned 4 this weekend. I had so much fun playing at his birthday party.
I got to go to 2 birthday parties this weekend! Andrew's on Saturday and Austin's on Sunday. As you can see - I had a blast at both! Austin's Mommy is a radiologist....so Mommy was trying to convince her to go to the hospital and scan the baby to see what the gender is :-) No such luck.....we will just have to wait for Mommy's ultrasound at 20 weeks.

Happy 15 month Birthday Big Boy!

Happy 15 months August! You have changed SO much in the last month. Your accomplishments include....

1. Walking EVERYWHERE! You love to walk and are really good at it now. Last Saturday, we went to Sandy's to buy you some "walking shoes." If anyone is looking for toddler shoes, I highly recommend the brand Tsukihoshi because these shoes are amazing. They are pricey!!! But totally worth it for a developing toddler foot! And since August is going to be an Olympic runner....we have to have a good base line :-)

2. Drinking from a straw! Bye Bye sipping cup! No more sippy cup - you are a big boy and drink from a straw! :-) Daddy is actually the one who taught you! Go Daddy!

3. Saying: uh oh, what's that? (and pointing), bye bye, love you, and many other words :-)

4. Hugging! You love to hug! In fact on Saturday, you would not stop hugging your friend Andrew. It was adorable and yes, us Mommies got it on film to embarrass you guys later when you are living together in college. Remember, you and Andrew will be roommates in college just like your Daddies were!

August - you add so much joy to our lives! We love you so much! You are such a wonderful child.....your Dad and I are so blessed! I will let you add pictures later of the 2 fun birthdays you went to last weekend!

I'm walking.....all over my sick Mommy

This weekend I started WALKING! Videos to come....Mommy was too sick to upload them this weekend. Her sore throat and fever started Friday and has not completely gone away. Unfortunately, I think I passed this along to Mommy considering I had a fever a week ago and lost my appetite.....hmmm - Mommy is thinking I must have had a sore throat too. Mommy has had to take medicine for the fever because it could be dangerous to my brother/sister. Pray Mommy gets better soon....she isnt as much fun when she is sick :-(

Augie is going to be a ....

Big Brother! I am so excited to be a big brother! Dr M (the first person I saw when I entered the world....) says my brother or sister should be here by November 16th. Mommy is hoping and praying she carries Baby H that long. I decided to show up early, so Mommy is a little nervous. We strongly believe in the power of prayer, so please please pray for us through this journey that Baby H will carry to full term and be a healthy, happy baby. Mommy and Daddy did not find out if I was a boy or girl last time, although Mommy just knew I was a boy! Gender prediction for Baby H - BOY! If you want to know why Mommy feels this is the case, just email her....she has a very unscientific Mommy theory that guessed what I was. Plus - just for fun Mommy and Daddy took the intelligender test (http://www.intelligender.com/intelligender-gender-prediction-test.html) and it was clear as day - BOY.....they are sure it is a scam - but still fun to take and see if it is right! As for Mommy, she has been very sick, so I have gotten to spend lots of time with Daddy! I love him so much, I continue to be very attached to him!

Happy Mother's Day and other randomness....

I was extra good on Mother's Day and made sure my mommy and grandma got flowers....even a flower with me on it! :-) I made the petals with my hands and the leaves with my feet! I got an extra special treat when Grandma stayed over on Sunday night after mother's day and played with me on Monday!
I think my pink eye is finally gone! YAY! no more eye drops! Poor Daddy had to experience the 3 times a day eye drops while Mommy held me down. It was especially hard when he would show up at daycare to give me my drops at lunch and then leave without me...what was that all about?! Mommy thinks I may have some more teeth popping through because I have not been acting like myself.....I have been whiney lately, crying at night in my sleep, and have not had much of an appetite :-( I did spike a fever on Saturday, but it went away. Speaking of fevers.....Mommy will never buy another named brand Tylenol or Motrin product again.....this is the SECOND recall of these infant products in less than a year.....and of course I always need the medicine during the recall (Saturday morning) so Mommy had to search 8 stores before finding a Walgreens that was literally unpacking the truck with generic tylenol that morning! My fever was 103.7.....so I definitely needed that Tylenol! Alright - that is it for my randomness of the day.....off to play!
