I'm 5 months old today :-)
Some of my milestones include:
Rolling from back to tummy and tummy to back
Scooting all around my room
"Talking" non stop
Grasping everything and transferring from one hand to another
Playing with my feet
I love to laugh
Mommy's milestone....still nursing :-)
And good news, the grandmas are staying one more month! YAY! :-)

One Year ago and Nine Years Ago today. Who knew July 21st would be so special?
Nine Years ago today, Mommy met Daddy......and then a year ago today....Mommy received the news that I was going to be born. It all went down like this....
Mom always practiced Ashtanga on Saturdays and Sundays and went to her Vinaysa classes during the week. The week before she found out she was pregnant with me, she felt very dizzy in her classes, which seemed odd, because she had never felt this way before. On Sunday, the 20th, during her Ashtanga class, she felt terrible and in the middle of her headstand, she almost fell over she was so unbalanced. (poor ashtangi that was next to mom, he was probably praying that she didn't fall over on him) She left the class feeling confused...being the hard headed mom she is she still tried to run that afternoon....but I had other plans for her (enough was enough mom)....I made her super sick and sent her to bed.....She blamed it on the July heat and the heat of an Ashtanga room, but in the back of her mind, she knew something was off. Monday morning - July 21st, she awoke at 5am to go on her early morning run. Still feeling funny she decided to take a pregnancy test.....and surprise - my existance was annouced in big digital letters "pregnant." Mommy kept waiting for the "not" to show up....but it never did. I was quite a shock to Mommy and Daddy, because they were planning for me to come along maybe after their trip to Europe in August. But why would I wait - I wanted to go to Europe too :-) Mommy cried tears of joy and Daddy was super excited. Mom didn't even realize that it was July 21st and it was the day mom and dad met until dad reminded her :-) July 21st will always hold such a special meaning in the Hellers' hearts. I celebrated today by playing with Grandma, "talking" somemore, and rolling over!

Spanish, English, Augish....just try and keep me quiet! - (video of me at the end of this post)
Tia Julie
Abuela y todos los ninos
Last week Abuela took care of me. She talks to me all day long in Spanish and I now feel the need to talk back! I talk so much now....and if you try and talk over me, I will let you know that I am talking by raising my voice. Looks like I have the gift of gab! Wonder who I got that from?! (See video below and don't forget to turn on your sound!)
Weekend recap:
Saturday: Mommy left me for Mommy time at the Spa at Barton Creek. Mom, Grandma, and Aunt Marci all spent a half day at the spa while Daddy and I hung out and watched the British Open (sorry Tom Watson). Mommy didn't realize until after her massage, how out of whack she was from having me.....I am still worth it though!
Sunday: I met my cousins! YAY! Aunt Julie and Uncle Bobby came to visit us and brought my cousins Dylan (7 years old) and Leo (1 year old). I loved watching them and of course talking to them. It was so exciting! Once they left - I just kept rambling on ....I am sure someone was listening to me.....
Another good weekend, here's to a good week. Grandma is here to love on me this week! What a lucky little boy I am!
Turn on your Volume! Done with a camera - so not the best quality.....Mommy has me on the couch - so I keep trying to roll over, but I can't!

BFFs - Augie and Jake
I am so lucky to have a best friend living next door! When Mommy got home from work, I got to go and play with Jake (8 mos old) and Morgan (over 2 1/2 yrs old). We had so much fun playing....I was even trying to "talk" to Jake :-) And thank you Jake for letting me try out your excersaucer! Mommy has known Jake's mommy for 14 years....they ran Cross Country together in high school at Westwood and then randomly ended up building their homes right next to each other. Morgan and Jake, when can we play again?

Happy Birthday Daddy and Fish Out of Water - Advice Needed
Happy Birthday Daddy!
I hope you have a very special 34th birthday....and Mommy would like to remind you, that you will always be older than her ;-)
Fish Out of Water - Advice Needed
I have had many nicknames through out the 4 1/2 months I have been alive. When was a few days old, I could get out of ANY swaddle, even the special swaddle blankets that had velcro. I always wanted my arms free and I would wiggle until they were. This earned me the nickname "Hoodini" or just "Hoodi" as mommy would refer to me. Then once I passed my due date and starting eating, I became "Hoggie Augie" or "Hoggust." Now, given recent events, I have a new nickname.....fish! I can not stay still in my crib!!! I am like a fish just flipping around the whole crib. Once I learned how to roll over, that is seriously all i do.....Mommy will put me down in my crib - asleep (ok - Mom knows that you are supposed to put babies down awake....but geez - we are still working on the whole sleep thing) and I flip over - while still asleep!! I flip all around in my crib - so that at any given night, I have slept in every spot possible and all on my tummy. Mommy and Daddy come in and flip me back to my back and I just roll right on over. The Doctor says it is not good for me to sleep on my tummy this young - but I just love it! Mommy looked at buying an infant positioner for me to wedge on the sides of me to keep me in place - but they all say that once a baby starts rolling and moving to not use them. Anyone out there have advice on how to keep me on my back and my face away from the bumper pads?
