January Update

August sleeping in his bed with ALL his toys!
August sleeping on the couch with his toys.....these cars have to been with him at all times....I think he is afraid if they arent - RDH will steal them! and he is probably right!

Brothers coloring. Actually August is coloing and RDH is just eating the crayons and chewing on my toothbrush
Yes - August needs a haircut! He has such beautiful, thick hair.....this did not come from me! Thank you for daddy's genes!
Playing in the leaves! Since we had a mild January, we spent LOTS of time outside. The boys LOVED raking and jumping into the leaves!

August playing his recorder to the music on the radio. RDH would just sit there and annoy August by changing all the channels

RDH's personality is starting to really show. He is quite a determined little guy and stubborn! He goes after and GETS what he wants....even if he is the smaller one!
There is this cotton tail wild rabbit that comes in our backyard from the greenbelt through these drainage holes the builder put in the stone wall in our backyard. August has claimed that this rabbit is his pet. He decided to build the rabbit a "bed" of leaves. Once the bed of leaves was completed, he was upset that the rabbit did not immediately return to take a nap.

August stealing my camera. I had about 100 shots like this.
I think August felt that our tree lacked decorations.....because one day he started "decorating" the tree with his potty stool. I also found a sippy cup in there and a sippy cup holder (which August explained to me was the Christmas tree's "star"). Next year we may need to add decorations!
