Dear Little Baby Brother Richard....

This shirt is for Aimee, Laura, Michelle, and Rachel ;-)
Baby Brother and Mommy at 34 weeks!
Checking out all of Baby Brother's stuff!

Dear Baby Brother Richard,
We are going to have a great life together :-) I just wanted to let you know that you should plan to stay in Mommy for at least 3 more weeks! I decided to come early and I can tell you that it is best to stay put. I can't wait to meet you, but trust me, you should grow as big as you possibly can before coming out because I like to play rough! :-)
Love,
Your Big Brother August

Like Father Like Son

No, Mommy and Daddy did NOT put me up to this! After watching Daddy try out his new bottle opener, I had to do the same. Since Mommy is pretty much worthless these days, Daddy and I grilled steaks last night and hung out in the backyard to give Mommy a break.

Augie's Pumpkin

Picking out my Halloween Pumpkin with Mommy and Grandma!

I LOVED the "pumpkin patch" and just kept doing laps around it!

WOW! Big Pumpkin!

Birthday flowers for Mommy from Daddy and I!
Watching the A&M game with Daddy!
This weekend while Daddy was in Dallas, Grandma came to stay with us and play. We were going to go out to Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls, but my baby brother was making Mommy feel bad, so we stuck to town and we got a pumpkin at Whole Foods. I had a blast running through their pumpkin patch trying to find the perfect pumpkin!
Before Daddy left to Dallas, he bought Mommy some beautiful flowers and a candle for her birthday!

Playing with Paisley

My eye is starting to heal nicely! Trust me - this is much better than it did look!!
I LOVE Paisley!
And I think she had fun too!
This weekend, I got to play with Paisley and Grandma! I had a blast playing with the "Baby!" Sunday morning, I walked around while Mommy and Daddy got ready for church searching for her! Paisley - where did you go and when are you coming back to play! ?

Happy 19 Months Baby Boy!

Happy 19 month bday August! Everyday your personality continues to expand. You are a very sweet and loving child, who loves to be kissed and hugged! Mommy and Daddy are so impressed with all the words you have learned lately and how clearly you say everything! Currently, your weekdays are spent playing with Ms Gina, Hayden, Arturo, Kensie, and Kallen. Your weekends are spent playing with Mommy and Daddy :-) Your daily schedule includes only one 1 1/2 hour nap and then sleeping at night from 830pm -730am.
On to the things you love:
1. To run and be outside. You especially love playing in the rain and when Daddy takes you on runs in the rain.
2. Dumptrucks, balls, and cups
3. Wrestling.....with anyone! Even 9 month old Kallen!
4. "Daddy" and "Mama"
5. Climbing on anything and everything
6. Being a helper and following directions ( I wish this would last!!) You are always trying to please Mommy and Daddy.
Keep growing big boy! We love you so much! Right now you are at home celebrating with Daddy all day, since Ms Gina is at a certification class. Have fun going to get your haircut and going to the grocery store with Daddy!

Black Eye update

Thanks everyone for checking on August. I ended up taking him to the doctor this morning to get his eye looked at because over the last few days it has started to look even worse than it did the day he hurt it. We are talking full on black and blue covering the entire eye lid. I am happy to report that his eye is perfectly fine :-) and Dr H said that he is just a REALLY active boy and to try and stear clear of those coffee tables from now on! I would post a picture, but they are just too sad to look at!

Collecting ALL the basketballs! I collected and brought to Mommy every basketball out at the ranch

"Stealing" another basketball...even though I already have 2!

This kept me busy a good 30 minutes!
More balls!

Taking another break! I literally wore myself out so much that when I would trip and fall....instead of popping up right away....I would roll around and lay down. I was exhausted!
After the picnic, we went to go and buy a new stroller for my brother and I! Its double BOB!
Handing my baby brother a truck!

Watching the game with Daddy in my game shirt!
High-fiving Daddy!

On Saturday I had a blast!! Mommy's work had their annual picnic and it was so much fun! I got to run around in HUGE fields, go on a wagon ride, play games, eat BBQ and snow cones (just the crushed ice!), play with friends, and basketballs! Mommy and Daddy thought for sure I would be exhausted when we left - but I fooled them by NOT taking a nap at all after the picnic and just going down for bed at 830. Why would I nap when I have so much to do :-) and besides, I wanted to at least watch the first half of the UT/Tech game! After the picnic, we went and bought a new DOUBLE BOB for my brother and I...and the best part about this BOB is we don't have to assemble it! If you buy a BOB at REI - they assemble it for FREE and do maintenance on it in their bike shop before you walk out the store....Daddy was very excited about this considering how long it took to put together our single BOB. After I came home and played with my trucks....I decided to watch the game with Daddy until he decided I needed to go to bed at 830. What a very fun day! Mommy also got some funny videos of me on the camera - so they are actually small enough to put on the blog! I may not know what "No" is, but I can repeat it!
