I love my little family!

Homemade cupcakes.  I got to use my new icing gun and it was super easy!!!

Grandma made the famous Cookie Monster cake.  All the boys have had this for their first birthdays

He did not like the feel of the icing on his fingers. 

So he tried eating the cake without having to touch the icing

Sam had enough!  Not much of a cake eater!

Happy Sam!  I took vacation on his birthday and got to spend all day with him.  For a fulltime working mommmy - this was heaven for both of us!

End of Summer, start of Fall

 The boys had a great end of summer - with two birthday parties in August (Gabriel and Reagan)

 Richard Dean moved upstairs to his big boy bed!  August and him now share a room and they LOVE it!  I am so happy with how the move has gone so far :-)  They both are doing really well sharing a room and following "Mommy's rules"  I couldn't be prouder!  And bedtime is soooo much easier now that we are back to two locations for nighttime routines......when we had all 3 in separate rooms, it was much harder to do everyone's routine!

 Even Sam had a blast at Reagan's party!

Overall a great first tailgate.  August was adorable, making friends with everyone and playing football.  He is SUCH an extrovert and makes friends wherever he goes!  RDH had a blast playing in the sand volleyball pit (which after looking in his bath afterwards - I think we brought home half the sand)  Sam had fun with his buddy Conor - crawling all over the place!
